Councilwoman Martha Webster first resided in the Village of Royal Palm Beach from 1979 to 1981. She and her family returned to the Village in 1998. She was elected to the Village Council in January 2008.
Prior to her election, Martha served on many professional and volunteer boards:

- Vice Chairwoman - City of Greenacres Planning and Zoning Commission
- Member – UF/PBC Family & Consumer Sciences Advisory Board
- Education Chair - Palm Beach County Affordable Housing Collaborative
- Board Member - Western Communities PATCH
- Board Member - Crestwood Performing Arts League
- Member - Florida League of Cities
- Member - Palms West Chamber of Commerce
- Alternate Member - Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
Martha holds an AA Degree from Virginia Intermont College, and both a BS Degree in Education and a M.Ed. in Education from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. She has earned additional studies toward an Educational Doctorate at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. While in school she was honored with the 1994 nomination to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Martha Webster is currently employed as University of Florida faculty Director of the 4-H Youth Development Program in Palm Beach County.
