Am I required to have a permit to host a Garage Sale?
A permit is required to hold a garage or yard sale. Residents are limited to three sales per year (one sale approximately every four months). The cost for the permit is $10 and includes three provided by our department. It is illegal to place additional signs in medians and right-of-ways or to tack signs on utility poles or trees to advertise the sale.
