The Village of Royal Palm Beach, incorporated in 1959, is governed by a Mayor and a Village Council and provides municipal services to 31,864 residents. The Village is located in the central part of Palm Beach County which is in the Southeastern part of the State. The Village encompasses 11 square miles and is 15 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean.

We provide diversified activities which enrich lifetime skills, physical development, and fulfillment of personal needs. Currently the Village of Royal Palm Beach has set a high standard of 7.5 acres of parkland per 1,000 residents. The parks are planned, functional, and designed with open space areas which are maintained at a high standard that serves the present and future needs of the residents.

Royal Palm Beach has been named Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 1990.  The entire area within the village limits is designated as a bird sanctuary.
