The mission of the Village of Royal Palm Beach is to provide Services, and Facilities, to create an Aesthetically Pleasing, Active and Connected Community.

 

The Village of Royal Palm Beach, incorporated in 1959, is governed by a Mayor and a Village Council and provides municipal services to approximately 40,000 residents. The Village is located in the central part of Palm Beach County which is in the Southeastern part of the State. The Village encompasses 11 square miles and is 10 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean.

In 2008, Family Circle Magazine recognized the Village of Royal Palm Beach as one of the Top 10 Best Towns for Families.

Village of Royal Palm Beach Activities

The Village provides diversified activities which enrich lifetime skills, physical development, and fulfillment of personal needs. Currently the Village of Royal Palm Beach has set a high standard of 10 acres of park land per 1,000 residents. These parks are planned, functional, and designed with open space areas which are maintained at a high standard that serves the present and future needs of the residents.

Tree City USA

Royal Palm Beach has been named Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 1990. The entire area within the Village limits is designated as a bird sanctuary.
